The brief
Dynamic and contemporary quantity surveying company Kwanto
Limited was established in 2006 and has a strong team of highly
skilled practitioners. The firm engaged Wright Communications to
build its brand and client base, and raise the profile of Kwanto
director James White as an industry thought leader. At the same
time, the client wanted to demystify the profession.
The Wright solution
A six-month tactical media strategy was developed, with the aim
of achieving the client's goals through a mix of influential media
coverage. This included: introducing James White to editors of
target publications in a series of facilitated monthly 'meet and
greets'; producing thought-provoking opinion pieces and negotiating
their placement in key industry magazines; a series of new
appointment releases; and a 'day in the life' article on one of
Kwanto's young guns, explaining the role of a quantity
surveyor.

shakers' sections of National Business Review, New
Zealand Herald, The Independent, and Commercial
Property New Zealand.
