Australia’s leading news outlet for the electrical appliance and electronics industry has just launched in New Zealand, with a number of industry and consumer e-newsletters and websites.
Connected Digital Media has launched New Zealand's first daily
newsletter and comprehensive news website for the electrical
appliance and electronics industry, as well as two consumer-facing
websites: ConnectedWomen and ConnectedChefs.
Renowned online media specialist and CEO of Connected Digital
Media, Claire Moffat said New Zealand had a strong appliances and
electronics industry and is a test market for their expansion plans
into Asia.
"We are excited about working in the industry in New Zealand to
provide retailers with the up-to-date product and industry news
they are hungry for, while connecting them with Kiwi consumers who
are increasingly internet and technology-savvy," she said.
"Research from Saatchi & Saatchi showed that 60 per cent of
women leave technology stores without a purchase. This is due to
either a lack of relevant information or the attitude of the male
staff, and that is something we want to rectify.
"We also know there's an increasing demand from consumers for
information on how they can use appliances to emulate the celebrity
chefs they see on television, and ConnectedChefs helps them do just
that."
The Connected news service for the appliance and electronics
industry will broadcast an e-newsletter in 'real time' every
weekday, while ConnectedWomen and ConnectedChefs provide
consumer-facing websites packed with information, forums,
giveaways, offers and more.
