After nearly seven years in the UK working in PR agencies and in-house with high profile companies, placing stories in one of the world's toughest media markets, Clare has an excellent grasp on what can make a story fly.

A strong writer, with a portfolio of published articles under her belt, Clare started her PR career as head of communications for Flight Centre New Zealand before strengthening her communications experience in the UK, working in a range of industries from healthcare, to travel and broadcasting.

Her experience includes working for Ogilvy PR in London developing global PR strategies for pharmaceutical clients; lobbying the UK government on broadcasting issues for a not-for-profit; and most recently heading PR and communications for David Lloyd Leisure, the UK's largest health and leisure chain.

Since joining Wright Communications, Clare has used her extensive skill set to provide strategic advice to clients and her nose for a story has helped clients gain high profile media coverage.

An avid off-road runner, when she's not pounding journalists with pitches for great stories, she can be found pounding trails on hills around Auckland.
